This is an excellent reference for the compounding Pharmacy Technician. As Director of a Pharmacy Tech Program, this reference has been an excellent tool that I use as a resource for instruction.

NPTA crap

As in all books by Mike Johnston, CPhT, who claims to be the author but actually pays others to write his books, they are not worth the price to purchase as they have multiple errors and in some cases, simply give wrong information. Not an NPTA fan who is involved in these series of books to sale to its membership base for great profit, because these books are easily seen as simply put together without thought or insight as to the needs of those who purchase them.

A Great Overview of Componding

This book only scratches the surface when it comes to extemporaneous compounding, but with that said I feel that it does provide a fantastic overview for someone who plans on perusing further education on the topic.
